Your information,
treated with care.

When you enquire, book or work with Artificielle Floral Co., you may share personal information with me. This page explains what I collect, why I collect it and how I look after it.

01 · What I collect

Depending on how you contact or work with Artificielle, I may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, wedding or project date, venue or location details, guest numbers, colour preferences, budget or investment information, and anything else you choose to share about your wedding or creative project.

I may also keep records of our emails, messages, Booking Summaries, invoices, payments and other information needed to manage your enquiry or booking.

02 · Why I collect it

I collect personal information so I can respond to enquiries, understand your wedding or project, prepare proposals and Booking Summaries, communicate with you, plan and deliver services, manage payments and keep appropriate business records.

I only ask for information that is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

03 · How I collect it

Most information comes directly from you — for example through the website enquiry form, email, phone, messaging, meetings or social media.

If you ask another person to enquire or coordinate on your behalf, or if information is provided by a venue or supplier in connection with your booking, Artificielle may also receive information indirectly where it is relevant to the work.

04 · How I use it

Your information is used for the purpose it was collected for, or for a closely related purpose you would reasonably expect. This can include responding to you, creating and updating your design, coordinating logistics, communicating with venues or suppliers where needed, invoicing and record-keeping.

I do not sell your personal information.

05 · Sharing information

Where necessary to deliver your wedding or project, limited information may be shared with venues, suppliers or collaborators involved in the work. I will only share what is reasonably needed for that purpose.

Information may also be handled by service providers used to run the business or website, such as website hosting, email, forms, cloud storage or payment services. Some of these providers may process information outside New Zealand.

06 · Storage & security

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. Information may be stored electronically in business systems, email, cloud services or website tools used by Artificielle.

If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, Artificielle will take the steps required under New Zealand privacy law, including notification where required.

07 · How long I keep it

Personal information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to meet business or legal record-keeping requirements, or to resolve any issues connected with a booking or project.

When information is no longer needed, I will take reasonable steps to securely delete or dispose of it.

08 · Photos & content

Photography and content relating to weddings, installations and creative projects are handled separately from ordinary enquiry information. Where Artificielle creates or receives images of its work, those images may be used for portfolio, website, social media, editorial or marketing purposes in line with any content or privacy arrangements agreed with you.

If you have specific privacy requirements around your wedding or project, please raise them before the event so they can be agreed clearly.

09 · Access & correction

You may ask to access the personal information Artificielle holds about you, or ask for it to be corrected if you believe it is inaccurate.

To make a request, contact Artificielle Floral Co. using the email details provided on the website.

10 · Privacy contact

Artificielle Floral Co. is responsible for handling privacy matters relating to the business. If you have a question, concern, access request or correction request, please get in touch by email.

If a privacy concern cannot be resolved directly, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.

11 · Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the website, business systems or legal requirements change. The current version published on the Artificielle website will apply.

New Zealand privacy law

Artificielle Floral Co. handles personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles. These principles govern the collection, storage, use, disclosure, access and correction of personal information.
